More than 100 new care roles are being created in Hull by expanding provider Cera.
With a £500 golden hello for certain positions, the company is confident in establishing a strong team as it takes an office in the city.
A total of 120 roles have been identified, across care assistant, care co-ordinator, care quality lead and branch manager positions.
They will be served from One Business Village on Emily Street.
Cera prides itself on a digital-first approach, freeing up staff from paperwork to provide the services, and already acts for more than 300 care commissioning groups and local authorities, performing 40,000 in-person visits to patients’ homes every day.
London-headquartered, it was co-founded by entrepreneur, physician and policy expert Dr Ben Maruthappu MBE, and its advisory board is chaired by Sir David Behan, the former chief executive of the Care Quality Commission.

The company describes itself as one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, with the entrance into Hull coming after a period of rapid expansion – with growth 100-fold in three years.
Students, experienced workers or those considering a career change have been encouraged, with claims the technology it uses can “recruit, train, certify and deploy new professional carers in a matter of days”.
Part time and full time positions have been outlined, with the opportunity to work towards an internationally recognised health and social care qualification.
