Country music’s biggest stars were out in force on Monday to honor the genre’s best music with the return of the CMT Music Awards.
The hitmakers were dressed in their finest as they arrived at the Municipal Auditorium in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
Country superstar Carrie Underwood put on a leggy display in a short purple dress, while Maren Morris rocked a skimpy mirrored top and Miranda Lambert shimmered in a plunging blue dress.
Carrie, who’s nominated for two awards, was decked out in a striking purple mini dress.
The look featured a modest slit to showcase her tanned and toned legs, and it was decorated with a leopard-print pattern.
The lustrous figure-hugging dress included both slim shoulder straps and halter straps reaching up from her cleavage.
She stood tall in shiny black heels and stuck to the shimmering theme with her glittering black clutch.
Her husband Mike Fisher went more casual with a black suit, a white T-shirt and white trainers.
