Dan Baldwin, Managing Director Hungry McBear Media, counted: “If you’ve missed visiting Gino D’Acampo in his pants at midnight, a firefighter descanting Opera, or Jamie Oliver texting everyone in his phone that he adores chicken nuggets – then you’re in for an entire treat as Big Show’s returning!”
Alongside the new series of Big Show, Michael will also return with a third series of a game show, The Wheel.
Kate Phillips, Director of Entertainment Commissioning, commented: “We’re thrilled that Michael McIntyre is bringing not one but two shows back to BBC One.

Plus, brand new audience shocks and a host of unique new features.
I have a slogan at the start of the show: big stars, big laughs, and big surprises, and that is precisely what we are trying to do. Sometimes I say big… then the audience says the fun rest. And yes, of class, there are big stars in this sequel. We have tons of big stars and have fun with them. It’s old-school pranking with hidden cameras, great performances, and emotions at times. It’s got a heart. It’s vibrant and hopefully hilarious. I have always thought you win if you watch something and can laugh and scream at the same show for the right causes. You don’t want to be yelling at the jokes and laughing at our shots at sentimentality! Every show is other, and I am hoping very entertaining.
