Angel Bumpass’ retrial case rescheduled many times since April 2021 and, she might be expecting a new date for her retrial in 2022.
Court has rescheduled her date to 7 Jan 2022, but it seems that the hearing never happened. And she will again reschedule.
Years have changed but, her fortune remains the same neither she can prove herself innocent and, she is getting a date from court to prove it. But, because fate favors the bold, she will be able to prove her innocence and be set free.
Bumpass was found guilty in October 2019 of a murder that was committed in 2009. The jury took approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes approximately for deliberation.
In 2009, Angel was an eighth-grade student at Brown Middle School. She took the bus to school from her grandmother’s place. She now has two children.
But one day, two detectives arrived with a felony murder warrant for Angel, dating back to May 2018. She is unaware of the murder.
