ANTHONY JOSHUA and Tyson Fury will go their separate ways before an anticipated mega-fight at the end of the year.

The fight was set for August 14, but Fury will first instead have to defend his WBC title in a trilogy bout vs Deontay Wilder after a US judges ruling.

That fight has been confirmed for July 24, with Joshua now set to take on No 1 contender Oleksandr Usyk this summer.

Tyson Fury has vowed to ‘smash’ Deontay Wilder in one round and boasted that he has his rival’s soul and mojo.

He told his his US promotional team, Top Rank: “Wilder, this contract is signed.

“You’re getting smashed. When I say smashed, I mean smash, smash, smash, bang.

“You’re getting knocked out. End of. One round, you’re going. I’ve got your soul, your mojo, everything.”

FURY CONGRATULATES TAYLOR

Tyson Fury has congratulated undisputed super-lightweight champion Josh Taylor after he beat Jose Ramirez on Saturday night to claim all four belts in the 140-pound division.

Tyson Fury promised to knock out Deontay Wilder before fighting Anthony Joshua as he signed his trilogy fight contract.

The warring boxers swapped Twitter insults on Wednesday night as things heated up between the pair, with Fury making the offer of a massive-money straightener.

The message Joshua reposted said: “20M the f***ing homeless are still waiting on the 7M you promised them two years ago you sham.”

Meanwhile Fury’s trilogy with Wilder is set to take place on July 24 in Las Vegas.

Tyson Fury is confident that his fight with Anthony Joshua will definitely take place this year.

Fury was expected to take on Joshua in an all-British unification match this summer but it was ultimately decided that he will complete his trilogy with Deontay Wilder instead.

“I’m going to deal with this mug, Deontay Wilder, I’m knocking him out cold, and then I’m going t deal with the other guy straight away”

FURY PREDICTION

Tyson Fury had some strong words for Deontay Wilder ahead of their imminent third fight as he warned him he will beat him “a bit better than last time”.

Fury told ESPN: “I think he’s going to give it a good roll of the dice, this is his last hurrah.

“I got his heart, his soul, his mojo. Everything of Deontay Wilder, every bit of substance, I got it in my pocket. I’ve carried it around with me for the last 18 months.

“He’s an idiot, he got absolutely dismantled and smashed to bits in our last fight and he wants that all over again.

“He was telling people I cracked his skull, I’ve injured his shoulder, I’ve done his bicep. Yet he wants to get in there with me again.

“It’s either one of two things — he’s absolutely crazy or he’s a sucker for punishment.

FURY VS WILDER RECAP

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder are set to face off for a third fight that will complete a trilogy on July 24 in Las Vegas.
