But how much do these eco-cars will cost you? Here’s what you need to know

How much does a Tesla cost?

Tesla offers four car models: the Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y.

The company’s first vehicle, the first-generation Tesla Roadster, is no longer sold.

The five-door liftback sedan was the first electric vehicle to top the monthly sales ranking in any country in 2013.

It can cost you from £73,990 to £138,990 or between $102.212 and 192.005 in the US.

Tesla Model 3

The four-door fastback sedan is the world’s best selling electric car in history.

It can cost £40,490 ($55,934) or £46,990 ($64,913) if you are after the Long Range version.

Those who are checking the Performance version should be expected to pay £56,490 ($78,037).

Along with the 2019-2020 Model Y vehicles, they are facing a recall because fasteners that secure the front seat belt to the b-pillar may not be properly attached.

It has ranked as the world’s best selling plug-in electric car for three consecutive years, from 2018 to 2020.

Tesla Model X

The mid-size crossover SUV has passenger doors that open vertically.

The long-range model starts at £87,980 ( $121,538) and the Performance at £102,980 ($142,260).

It ranked seventh among the world’s best-selling plug-in cars.

Deliveries for the compact crossover utility vehicle started last year.

The Model Y Long Range is expected to cost £52,000 while the Performance £60,000.

In the US prices will be slightly lower at $47,000 and $60,000 respectively.

It is being manufactured at Tesla Factory in Fremont, California as well as in Giga Shanghai in China.
