SLICED OUT Domino’s reduces menu to offer just seven pizzas during coronavirus lockdown

S

DOMINO’S has axed the majority of items from its menu and is now offering a choice of just seven pizzas.

The move, which is in response to the coronavirus crisis, means several fan favourites and side options have been temporarily removed.

The simplified menu contains just seven different types of pizzas, ten sides and four different dipping sauces.

When The Sun checked online, Domino’s had also removed their half and half option.

However, customers can still “make their own” pizza with a reduced choice of toppings.

A note on the Domino’s website reads: “Sorry if your favourite is unavailable. We are temporarily running a simplified menu.”

According to the latest menu uploaded to FastFoodPrice.co.uk, the change means fan favourite pizzas including The Hawaiian and The Cheeseburger are no longer available.

Garlic dippers also appear to have been temporarily scrapped.

FastFoodPrices.co.uk says the latest menu from their website was taken from a London store in April 2020.

We’ve asked Domino’s for a full list of menu items that have been axed and we’ll update this article when we know more.

Domino’s has more than 1,000 stores in the UK – use the online finder tool to track down your nearest branch.

The Sun is also checking if Domino’s has made any store closures due to coronavirus.

Takeaway restaurants have been allowed to stay open during the COVID-19 epidemic, with Domino’s offering contact-free delivery.

The pizza chain has also stopped accepting cash to help keep staff safe.

Meanwhile, Domino’s has just confirmed it plans on giving away £1million worth of pizza to key workers every week for the next month.

The pizza chain says the giveaway will focus on a range of workers, including NHS staff, postal workers and supermarket staff.
