MCDONALD’S has launched its vegan burger at ALL of its UK restaurants.
The fast food giant’s long-awaited McPlant burger was initially only released at 250 locations, but you can now get your hands on the meat-free treat anywhere.
Lucky customers have had the chance to try the meatless alternative since September last year, but many customers haven’t been granted the opportunity until now.
Fast food lovers in the Midlands were the very first to try the new plant-based burger.
But now that Veganuary has rolled around, the chain has let everyone join in the health kick.
That covers customers visiting any of its 1100 restaurants.
Rivals have even got in on the Veganuary menu offers too, as Burger King launched its own vegan nuggets just yesterday.
The Vegetarian Society vegan-approved burger includes a Beyond Meat patty, topped with gherkins, tomato, lettuce, ketchup and a vegan burger sauce in a classic sesame seed bun.
The burger will typically cost £3.49 or £4.89 as part of a meal with chips and a drink, in line with other McDonald’s products. But prices may vary between restaurants.
We even tasted the burger before it launched, and this is what we thought.
