Model and actor cara delevingne crystal meth was reportedly a no-show at her event at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) on Monday, adding to worries about her recent behavior.
Delevingne collaborated with the late German architect Karl Lagerfeld’s label to produce a tablet collection of genderless clothes and accessories that are easy to style. Having worked on the group for the last few years, the model told Vogue that Lagerfeld “would be proud of what we have created and how we have created it.”
The line was undertaken globally on September 8, and a capsule launch for the collaboration took place on Monday evening amid NYFW, with a slew of celebrities and fashionistas in attendance. The only thing missing, according to several authorities, was Delevingne herself.
Some visitors at the event included Keke Palmer, actress Nina Dobrev, Becky G, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Candice Swanepoel, among others.
Delevingne’s want at the event was the latest incident to spark worry among her fans, as some have been telling out behavior they’ve deemed odd over the last few months.
Most just, sources have reported the Only Murders in the Building actor appearing shoeless and fidgety at an airport, and a video that has 1.8 million views at the time of magazine shows Delevingne barefoot, appearing to talk on the phone as she spins around erratically outside the Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.
The actress continued, “And then I was getting on the floor taking pictures. That’s what I do, and I don’t know. I was just really excited. I’m like, ‘Let me get my angle, guys! I’m a photographer.’ It was so fun.”
“I was living my best life, but people found it a little bit odd,” she said. “People find me odd, but that’s me. No shame.”
It’s been over two months since Cara Delevingne followed Megan Thee Stallion at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, and the bar is just now explaining her “odd” behavior.
For just a dash of context, Delevingne went viral in May after photos and videos from the awards show the model latching on to the award-winning rapper. From the red mat to the main event, the bar appeared wherever Megan Thee Stallion set foot. Many observers found the model’s omnipresence unsettling.
Now Cara Delevingne is putting the record straight.
During a current appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Only Murders in the Building actor clarified that she was asked to the show by Megan and didn’t know she’d be seated with the nominee during the show. Not only did Megan perform at the event, but she ultimately took home the award for the best female rap artist.
“I wanted to see her play, and she asked me to come along with her,” Delevingne said, per People. “I didn’t know I would go and sit or do anything. I thought I was going to come and watch her play. I walked in, and I had a seat in the front row, and I’m like, ‘I’m not represented to be here.'”
As for the red-carpet shots and that one video with Doja Cat, Delevingne says she was exciting a friend. “I was supporting her, and I was doing it, and I was going like, ‘Yeah, girl!’ I was hyping her up, being a hype woman,” she said. “That’s what I do. I was just really excited.” The model even says she helped Megan Thee Stallion practice her acceptance speech.
She continued, “I was living my best life, but people saw it odd. People find me a bit odd, but that’s me. No shame.”
After missing a New York Fashion Week event earlier this month celebrating her collection with late designer Karl Lagerfeld, Delevingne, 30, was on hand at the Paris Fashion Week party for Cara Loves Karl on Tuesday.
To mark the occasion, Delevingne sported a sultry oversized tuxedo jacket with a web belt around her neck that features Lagerfeld’s name and a matching belt around her waist. Her honey-blonde locks, extensions from Great Lengths, fell softly about her shoulders. The model finished her look with thigh-high black boots.
Early Tuesday, Delevingne wore another Cara x Karl look in a carousel she shared on Instagram. That look included a sleek black blazer, matching pants, and classic pointed-toe pumps. She went without a blouse under her blazer, showing off its plunging neckline.
