Zatoon Bibi, 37, asked her ex-husband Gul Nawaz, 44, for aid in murdering Tanveer Iqbal on January 31, 2016, the day after his 33rd birthday.

According to the court, Zatoon Bibi lured the unknowing music producer to her home with the promise of birthday cake before strangling him to death with Nawaz.

She then placed his body in a widescreen TV box in the boot of his car, which she sealed with silver gaffer tape and blue nylon wire.

Gul Nawaz Wife Case Update

Zatoon Bibi of Birmingham killed her estranged partner Tanveer Iqbal in January 2016 with the assistance of her husband, Gul Nawaz, and son Kashim because she blamed him for the breakup.

Attorney claims that a teen convicted of murder after assisting his parents in the murder of Kashim’s mother’s lover was manipulated by his mother.

“What is particularly horrible is that you recruited your son to the company,” Judge Mark Wall QC said Bibi as he handed down her sentence.

In this case, the murder weapon – the rope – was purchased specifically for the aim of murdering Tanveer Iqbal. It was purchased just hours before the murder.

During the six-week trial, Bibi and Nawaz were accused of strangling Tanveer to death at his ex-home lover’s in Bartley Green, Birmingham.

According to the court, the victim and his wife and lover had an unusual and problematic home relationship. Tanveer’s wife Nasreen would even receive explicit photos of Bibi performing various activities on her.
