Lady Joan Malpas came forward as the wife of the leading engineer Sir Robert Malpas after he was left lying on the tracks with a train coming towards him at Marble Arch station around three years ago.
Malpas was reportedly pushed in front of a Tube but a hero commuter jumped on time and saved his life, as per The Sun.
Riyad El-Hassani saw him lying on the track and barely thought anything before he jumped down and threw him back onto the platform.
Another man stopped the train and another tackled the suspect Paul Crossley. Lady Malpas praised all three men and declared them heroes who helped save her husband’s life.
Evening Standard reported Crossley was taken into custody on two charges of attempted murder.
