Her mother replied to an Instagram post declaring the pregnancy with the terms “Granny heaven” and a heart emoji.

Eugenie and Jack, 36, began dating in 2011 and established their relationship in an appearance at Royal Ascot that year.
The pair maintained a long-distance relationship when Eugenie left London to perform for an auction house in New York in 2013.
At the time, Jack told The Daily Mail: ‘We expend a lot of time on Skype. It’s great, and we’re still very much together.’
In 2015 the princess returned to London, where the pair grew ever closer – and they sparked engagement rumors the following year.
But it was in January 2018 that Jack popped the query while the pair were away in Nicaragua.
Then in October of that year. Eugenie similarly announced her first pregnancy, posting on Instagram the same time the palace announced the news.
When he was born, August was considered 8lb 1oz, and the couple split with tradition by directly sharing a black-and-white photo to Eugenie’s Instagram of them holding their newborn’s tiny hand.
She observed the post with three blue hearts after including her son at the luxury private hospital where Meghan Markle also gave birth to her son, Archie.

She mostly kept August out of the spotlight for his first two years but pleased fans when she transferred a video of him dancing during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The Duchess of York, 63, once honored Eugenie’s mothering skills during a discussion with Hello magazine.
She revealed: ‘My children are exceptional mothers. They were great children, but now they’re exceptional mothers. And now, I have these two amazing grandchildren all in one year.’
