REFEREE Jon Moss had his record shop TRASHED days after angering fans in his final ever game.

The newly-retired official has also allegedly received death threats following controversy in the Championship play-off final between Nottingham Forest and Huddersfield.

Police are investigating the incidents.

Moss came under fire for his performance in Sunday’s Wembley showdown as Huddersfield felt hard done by after seeing two penalty appeals be waived away in the £170million game.

Harry Toffolo was clipped inside the area but was booked for diving.

Then Lewis O’Brien later went down under the challenge of Max Lowe and a penalty wasn’t awarded.

Forest went on to win the final 1-0 returning to the top flight of English football since their 1999 relegation.

Along with the play-off final win comes a £170million cash windfall.

In the aftermath of the game, Town supporters took to Twitter to blast Moss’ refereeing performance.

One fan tweeted: “Jon Moss is by far one of the worst referees in the history of football, makes shocking decisions almost every game.
