DRAGONS’ Den is back with its nineteenth series, featuring a panel of familiar investors.

But there is also a new kid on the block joining the famous line-up.

Who are the Dragons’ Den dragons?

Deborah Meaden

Born in Somerset, Deborah grew up in Essex before moving back to the West Country.

She first got a taste for business when leading paid pony rides along the beach in Minehead at the age of eight.

Touker Suleyman was born on August 4, 1953, in Famagusta.

He was born into a Turkish-Cypriot family and later moved to England and attended school in Peckham, south London.

He is a multi-millionaire retail and fashion entrepreneur. In 2001 his company Low Profile Group bought famed shirtmaker Hawes & Curtis for just £1.

In 2015 The Sunday Times Rich List estimated Touker as having a fortune worth £150million.

Sara Davies, MBE, is an entrepreneur and television personality who was born in Coundon, County Durham in 1984.

The businesswoman founded her craft supplier company, Crafter’s Companion, in 2005 while studying for a business degree at York University.

It was her ground-breaking product called The Enveloper that she designed and marketed that put her on the map – selling over 8,000 in the first 24 hours of being debuted on shopping channel Ideal World.

By the time she had graduated with her degree – with first-class honours no less – she had a business with a turn over of over half a million pounds.

Sara’s company now employs over 200 people across the globe and according to the entrepreneur the company’s turnover is over £34million.

Alongside the returning faces will be a new Dragon making an appearance on the show – Steven Bartlett, who will be the youngest person to sit on the panel at just 29-years-old.

He attended Manchester Metropolitan University at the age of 22, but dropped out after just one lecture.

The same year, he co-founded two companies, Social Chain and Media Chain, together with his business partner Dom McGregor.

In 2019 , he took Social Chain public and the company is estimated to be worth around £300 million.

In an exclusive with the Mirror, he said: “Hanging out with Peter Jones – I thought we’d been best mates for 10 years. And Deborah was wonderful to me.”
