Three Rottweiler dogs that were confiscated after a deadly attack on a two-year-old boy have been destroyed, police said.

It was a boy left with severe injuries After being bitten on March 28, he was rushed to hospital, where he later died.

Three Rottweilers were taken away by officers, and West Mercian police said on Tuesday they had now been thrown down.

Police responded to a report of a two-year-old boy having a heart attack at around 11.20am on the day of the attack.

When they arrived at the scene, it turned out that he was seriously injured by a dog.

He was transferred from Worcestershire Royal Hospital to Birmingham Children’s Hospital. where he died two days after the attack.

This was followed by an incident in Kanok last Saturday, also in Kenok West Midlands:when an eight-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl were hospitalized after being attacked by a dog.

Rottweilers are medium to large dogs that can weigh up to 60 kg – more than 9 stones.

They are not banned in the UK, including the Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino and Fila Brasileiro.
