WHAT’S THE PRICE? Katie Price to learn fate over BMW speeding offence today after she dodged jail for drink-drive smash

KATIE Price will learn her fate today over a fresh driving offence after she avoided jail for a drink-drive smash.

The troubled star, 43, was allegedly caught driving over the 60mph speed limit in a BMW close to her mucky mansion in Horsham, West Sussex.

It came just 11 days before she flipped the flash motor in a drink-drive crash on 28 September.

Katie Price was due to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with speeding.

She is also accused of failing to give information to police when asked following a driving offence.

Her case will now be dealt with via a single justice procedure, which means she does not need to go to court.

Instead, a magistrate will deal with the case remotely and Katie will be told the result later today.

She can be dealt with by a fine, points on her license and a driving ban – the mum cannot be jailed under the procedure.

The charge is Katie’s latest legal drama after she was charged with breaching a restraining order.

The ex-glamour model allegedly sent a “vile and nasty” message aimed at Kieran Hayler’s partner Michelle Penticost branding her a “gutter s**g”.

She was warned she was in “grave danger” of going to prison if she is convicted after pleading not guilty to the offence.

Katie is set to appear at Lewes Crown Court this Wednesday.

She is already on a 16-week suspended sentence for drink driving after she flipped her BMW in a horror smash in September.

Katie was driving to see a pal because she was “lonely” when she overturned her BMW in Horsham, West Sussex, in September.

She was already banned from driving when she got behind the wheel after taking cocaine and downing vodka and lemonade.

A judge slammed her for believing she is “above the law” but couldn’t send her to prison because of a legal loophole.

District Judge Amanda Kelly said: “When you chose to get behind the wheel that night you showed no concern for others.

“You could have killed somebody. Your actions meant the emergency services had to use up their precious time.
