Lucy Letby was born to her parents John Letby and a mother Susan Letby in 1990. She is 31 years old lady. Her parents seemed to have hope for her.
In 2011, her parents published her photo wearing her mortar hat in the local newspaper congratulating her on graduating with honors.
She is the only child her parents have. Even Lucy’s neighbor explained her to be a career-focused woman and been known to the family for 25 years.
Though Lucy was living far yet makes a visit as a good girl. And her parents loved it. They had a recent vacation to Torquay for a week.
The neighbor added, “I can’t really believe it. It was delicious. Her parents have to go through hell.” Indeed it must be hell to witness such a crime from a child.
Following her previous arrests, the police ransacked Letby’s £180, 000 home in Chester’s Blacon district, along with her parent’s home in Hereford.
Her friends, neighbors, and acquaintances have to say all good about her and her kindness. Some even said, she couldn’t harm a fly even.
Is Lucy Letby Innocent? Her Motive and Evidence on Murder
Lucy is a pediatric nurse. After being arrested a couple of times she was then arrested with evidence of murdering 8 babies during 20015-2016.
In 2016, The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health released different reports saying that staffing in the pediatric unit of Chester Hospital is far from adequate.
They couldn’t figure out why babies are dying from June 2015 to June 2016. The death rate of babies in the hospital was over 10% of the average death forecasted.
She was raising funds for child welfare. It is not clear how the police got a hint on her. She was arrested in 2018. Upon investigation, her absence decreases the death rate.
She was rearrested in 2019 but released with no sufficient proof, In November 2020, she has arrested again with evidence as per police but not shared publicly.
However, Lucy has denied all the charges. On the 4th of October, 2021, she appeared in court over a video pleading not guilty.
Her trial has been set to begin the following year, i.e. October 2022.
