It’s reasonable to assume that if Apple were to release an iPhone 15 Pro, it would likely have improved hardware specifications, new features, and possibly a redesign. Some possible improvements include a better camera, a faster processor, a larger battery, and more advanced biometric authentication methods. The iPhone 15 Pro could support 5G connectivity, display higher resolution, and come in new colours or finishes. Ultimately, only time will tell what the future holds for Apple’s iPhone lineup.
Apple has no official information or announcement about the iPhone 15 Pro. However, Apple may release a new iPhone model in the future, and they usually announce new iPhones in September or October each year.
The name of the next iPhone model may be something other than iPhone 15 Pro, as Apple may choose a different naming convention. Nevertheless, it’s expected that any new iPhone model would come with upgraded features and improvements over previous models.
CAD renders of Apple’s alleged ‘Taptic buttons’, and its rumoured solid-state mute switch have surfaced online. Previously, these buttons were missing from the older leaked CAD files. The files shared by chenwen1987 on Douyin show what to expect from Apple’s next generation of flagship smartphones, which will land this September.
Apple will adopt a single button for volume control, eschewing the dedicated volume up and down buttons on the existing iPhone. Based on earlier rumours, the Taptic button is pressure-sensitive and recognizes book up/down presses without movement.
IOS could adjust volume faster when the Taptic button detects a harder press. However, whether it will generate haptic feedback like Apple’s Force Touch trackpads remains to be seen.
In the meantime, the mute switch will hold its position and return as a solid-state button. The regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus retain Apple’s physical mute control. The tactic volume and lock buttons are also expected to be exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Unfortunately, it still needs to be determined how Apple will integrate these pressure-sensitive buttons.
