Why is Google not working?

Google has reportedly been experiencing problems this afternoon.

According to Down Detector, 71% of users are reporting problems with the website, while 22% claimed the search engine was down, and 7% have reported login problems.

Thousands of complaints from UK and US users have been filed with the website outage platform.

Most receive a 404 error message stating: “The requested URL/ was not found on this server.”

Several other users complained that Google Domains and Google News were not working.

At this time, it remains unclear when the website will get fixed.

Earlier this month, users were experiencing similar problems.

How do I check if Google isn’t working?

On Android, there are simple steps to take to check if your app has a problem or isn’t working properly by checking in the Google Play Store at your history.

Users can open the Google Play Store, tap the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner, then select “My apps & games.”

Apps that have updates available are listed.

If you see your malfunctioning app on the list, tap Update and then check it again to see if the issue has been resolved.

When else has Google crashed?

So far in the month of November, Google has experienced five problems or outages.
