Two men who spat and shouted abuse at a young woman in Edinburgh are being sought by police.
The attack happened at Edinburgh Park station at about 19:20 on Thursday 7 January.
The men, believed to be aged between 17 and 25, followed the 19-year-old as she got off the 18:29 Dunblane to Edinburgh Waverley train.
Both men made indecent comments to her, with one of the men spitting on her as she made her way out of the station.
The woman was left “extremely upset”.
British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
‘Despicable actions’
Both men were thin and about 5ft 8ins.
The first man was wearing a grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and had a black scarf over his face.
The other man was also wearing a hooded top and also had a scarf over his face.
Det Con Paul Farquhar, of British Transport Police (BTP), said: “The actions of the two men can only be described as being despicable.
“I am appealing for anyone who was at the station and has information which can assist BTP inquiries to come forward.
